Privacy Policy for the StudyStream Encouragement Sound Notifier Chrome Extension

This Chrome extension, StudyStream Encouragement Sound Notifier, does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

What the extension does

The extension only:

• Reads the StudyStream page in your own browser (locally)
• Looks for encouragement events sent to you
• Plays a notification sound if the sender’s username matches your list
• Saves your settings locally using chrome.storage

What data is handled

• Your list of usernames is stored only on your device using chrome.storage.local.
• No information is ever sent to external servers.

What the extension does NOT do

• It does not collect personal information.
• It does not track browsing behavior.
• It does not log or store messages.
• It does not send any data to third-party servers.
• It does not use analytics or remote code.
